Video is the fastest growing segment of my work. I help clients create videos that tell the story of who they are and compel viewers to action.
For social media, videos of 1 minute or less with captions are best, as about 80 percent of videos on social are viewed without sound.
For an event, videos of 5 to 7 minutes work best, as it gives you enough time to tell your story and build emotion.
Examples of my work are below. I function as the producer, coordinating video interviews and working with a camera crew.
Theological Education Fund
Cannon was awarded the Excellence in Theological Education Award from the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in June 2018. I convinced the client to create a short, seven-minute video to tell the story of her work and ministry.
Lindsey is a pastor of a church in Pennsylvania. She was part of a series of 1 minute videos in which pastors summed up the value of their seminary education. We used these heavily in social media for Giving Tuesday and end-of-the-year appeals in 2017.
Musengwa was raised in South Africa and has an unusual and powerful story of how he received his call to go to seminary and become a pastor. His was just over a minute, and used in social media and other places as part of the campaign.
